Bromance Alert: A-Rod and T-Brady

2008_10_brom.jpgIs Alex Rodriguez Tom Brady's #2 fan (after Giselle Bundchen, of course)? The Post reports, from the Boston Herald, that there's a "budding bromance" afoot in the world of top athletes. Last week, A-Rod was hoping to have dinner with the injured Patriots quarterback last during the Yankees games versus Boston: "A-Rod was running around the clubhouse asking everyone, 'Are we gonna play? Are we rained out? Are we postponed?' Every few minutes he'd come around and ask his teammates - or anyone else who was around - the same thing." Well, who wouldn't be excited to have dinner with Tom Brady? He can sing and he can dance and he can even read your mind (reference). Unfortunately for A-Rod, the Yankees game was not rained out.

Most sports athletes are closet homos.

Um...

Most blog commenters are uneducated.

Why is this news?

You can see the same thing happen in Chelsea 500 times a night!

Hey, everyone? Just wanted to let you know that I am in no way interested in hearing about this "bromance" phenomenon. If they're not fucking, what's the point of hearing about it?

Aaaaawwwwww.

bromance. that's funny. but these celebrity matchups never last.

closet homos? they touch each others butts every day for the entire world to see.

Who are these people and why should the world really give a f u c k?

Where's Lindsey and Britney now that it counts?

So if Tom drills one into the endzone, A-Rods gonna be there to round the horn and reach home plate? Sounds like another stupid ESPN "original program".

They make a lovely couple.
