deepred.jpgMOVIE: It's Monday Movie Night at WORD. Tonight they'll be screening Dario Argento's Deep Red (Profondo rosso). The '70s release opens with the pictured shot of a child's feet and a bloody knife. Yikes!

7:30 p.m. // WORD [126 Franklin St, Greenpoint] // Free

THEATER: From South Park writer Matt Prager comes She Can't Believe She Said That!, a new musical about Kathie Lee Gifford. What more do you need to know? Premiering as part of the ongoing New York Musical Theatre Festival, the show "recounts the true story of talk show hostess Kathie Lee Gifford over thirty years, creating an identity out of thin air to achieve national fame… and international infamy. The original Kathie Lee-sical, this loony satire is like Evita crossed with cheese -- Velvevita, if you will." – John Del Signore

8 p.m. // TBG [312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor] // $20

COMEDY: Two longtime weekend performers at UCB, Lennon Parham and Anthony Atamanuik are billed together tonight with their respective solo shows. It should be quite a contrast with Parham doing eight characters in "She Tried to Be Normal," a show Time Out said "will leave you wondering why she's not famous." Meanwhile, 30 Rock's Atmanuik "has done a lot of crazy shit. And when he tells the stories about it, you're going to want to be there. Trust me." In "Pissing My Pants on Vine," he does just that. - Billy Parker

9:30 p.m. // UCB Theatre [307 W 26th St] // $5

MUSIC: Somehow tickets are still available for tonight's show at the Spiegeltent, featuring the Dodos and Au. Check out the former at a recent Soirée à emporter, and head over to the Tent tonight to catch them live for yourself. Highly recommended!

10 p.m. // Spiegeltent [Pier 17, South Street Seaport, 89 South St] // $20
