I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Newman and Ms. Woodward once and I remember them both being incredibly kind people. Mr. Newman gave me some advice that I ultimately took to heart when going off to college and doing all of that "life" stuff. I consider that one of the coolest events in my life so far. Thanks for the advice, Mr. Newman. One in a million actor and human being.

All of the $200 million-plus in profits from his Newman's Own line of food and beverages have gone to charity. He also started Hole in Wall camps, places "where kids could escape the fear, pain and isolation of their conditions, kick back, and raise a little hell." What an awesome man (and so amazingly handsome). Cool Hand Luke is still one of my favorite movies.
