whitecastlerock, the pitching might be no good, but last I checked a BULLPEN has something to do with all the pitchers that come in after the starter. Regardless, I'm not trying to be some idiot calling you out for the fact that the Mets are painful to watch. I don't even care if they make the playoffs anymore, they'd probably do about as much with that opportunity as when they took first place in the division a couple months ago. So Delgado, the guy who none of us could stand to look at last year, is the only one on the team that doesn't suck when it counts.

I blame the bullpen for this one as well. Oliver Perez couldn't finish 5 fucking innings. If they hadn't blown so many goddamned games all season, this loss wouldn't resonate nearly as much as it does now. Who cares if they make the playoffs now? They will be eliminated in short order... Yet another disappointing Mets season.
