"I don't think we will get to the point of layoffs," Bloomberg said. "I don't think the cuts we will have to do to get this budget in balance are of the magnitude where we would have to lay off people." so basically, no layoffs for the bloated overpaid nyc workforce with huge pensions and benefits... why bother when you can tax people who are struggling just to keep their homes?! I can't wait for this SOB to leave office already.

what about the 20 million in slush funds that Mayor Bloomberg dish out for his own agenda. Gave over 5 million to Simcha Felder. Respect term limits.
