I agree. Though I still keep my guard up, the overall drop in crime nowadays gives me much more peace of mind than the 80&apos;s or early 90&apos;s.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I can remember as a kid when the murder rate was 2K and dropping thinking it would be great if it dropped to 365 a year.  No more than one day.  Now it&apos;s at 496.  A few more years and we might just get there. &lt;/p&gt;</description>
