ART: P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center's exhibition titled That Was Then… This Is Now will be closing on the 29th. The exhibit "channels the spirit of the 1960s—and its artistic and political upheavals" through works inspired by flags, weapons, and dreams. The group exhibition shows the "artistic and socio-political climate of the late 1960s, and features artists united by the desire to mobilize art as a means of change." Check it out before it's gone.

MOVIE: That new documentary about the gentrification of Williamsburg as explored through the experiences of neighborhood pigeon keepers is screening tonight. Up on the Roof "follows several devoted pigeon breeders in one predominantly Latino section of Brooklyn through the rigors and rewards of a quintessential New York tradition."

MUSIC: Put on the indie rock map last year by Montreal heavyweights Arcade Fire, Judson Memorial Church has continued to welcome music fans to the fold. The no-frills performance space is about the same size and style of Bowery Ballroom (sans pews; it's general admission), and tonight Steve Earle—the blue states' country musician of choice—continues his four night stand. He's joined by alt-country cutie Allison Moorer, who you may or may not remember from her chart-topping duet with Kid Rock, "Picture."— John Del Signore
