It's the first day of Fall and Target is already counting down the days to Christmas. One shopper spotted this jolly 'ol snowman, amongst the other seasonal characters, just a row or two down from the Halloween candy. Sure, shops are notorious for getting lots of play out of the profitable holidays, but according to Santa's clock, there are still 93 days to go til the big day.

    Yay for another commercial holiday!

Spend, spend, spend, charge, charge, charge to help the bottom line of the retail industry because that is the American thing to do.

Don't forget about buying each of your family members HDTV this season!

Yep! I saw a big display of fake Christmas trees next to the idiotic huge Halloween yard inflatables at the Lowe's in Brooklyn Saturday night.

After working in retail for 8 years of my life, I realized Christmas is set up so early because they need to fill shelf space after the back to school stuff is gone.

However, that same job killed my spirit for the holidays, because I realized how superficial and commercial all holidays have become.
