Quite simply, Sports venue = fraud. Taxpayers have to shell out millions which could be going towards everything from schools to infrastructure repair/improvement so some greedy rich bastard can have a place for his millionaires to play children's games, sell tickets that most people can't afford, and provide little benefit to the community compared to spending the money on actually beneficial things.

New stadium looks like the old one—boring. Three new sports stadiums will be constructed before a World Trade Center memorial. Now that is a crime that needs to be investigated. Where the hell where the politicians when there was a groundbreaking ceremony for this new stadium? More than likely they were wearing dopey helmets mugging for the cameras. They knew then what they are "discovering" now. The taxpayers were footing the bill for most of this shit. Didn't any of them say, "Gee George, you already have a stadium you play in. Oh please don't go to New Jersey, that would be sacrilege!" We will build you a new stadium, fuck the paying public. We love the NEW YORK YANKEES!

I seriously despise the thought of paying for sports stadiums with public money. Now if those sports stadiums were to be used by public school kids and the public in general fine, but the Yankees... What about all the New Yorkers who could give a Rats Ass about baseball much less the Yankees, how is it at all a benefit to them? Socialism for the wealthy, frontier living for the rest of us!
