Finally, Now We Know Who Trump Endorses for President

2008_09_trumen.jpgYou can stop holding your breath! Real estate developer Donald Trump threw his hat behind John McCain last night on Larry King Live. He said he's known McCain for a while, "Also, this is not the right time for tax increases. And Obama wants to increase your taxes drastically.” Politico points out, "Well, maybe not your taxes. But certainly The Donald’s: Obama would repeal President Bush tax cuts for households making more than $250,000." (Trump, check out FactCheck.org!) Trump went on to say he didn't understand why Hillary Clinton wasn't chosen as Obama's running mate and said, "He should have chosen Hillary, It would have been a much different race, I believe. Right now, it looks to me like McCain is probably winning.”

DO THE MATH

John McCain and Sarah Palin,

Unprecedented crew,

By any presidential standard

Unqualified x 2.

hey donald, you know what needs a cut? Your hair.

so the dude who has made his entire career over selling tacky shitty buildings to foreign investors then running away with the capital and leaving them holding the bag wants to endorse John McCain? got you.

i'm pretty surprised that trump didn't throw his support behind biden's hairdo. where's the solidarity?

Economic prosperity has never, ever followed a tax increase. Period.

Didn't Clinton raise taxes? Seems to me republicans have been claiming for years that he did, and the economy did pretty well, as I recall.

lol bagelman

but yeh..this is no surprise.

Considering that the government has a $434 Billion shortfall, you can't rule out increasing taxes either.

You can't lower taxes and NOT lower spending. Even if you do lower govt spending, cutting hundreds of billions from the fed budget is not the easiest thing in the world. Our fiscal house is out of order. Lowering taxes on top of $500 Billion in red ink is reckless.

Other than Ivanka, Trump has done squat with his life....who CARES what he thinks?

By endorsing McCain, he really is endorsing Obama.

dick

Polemicist: Clinton whitehouse. I love how Republicans get so drunk by their own self-interests that they make claims like yours. Get a sense of history.

@ esquared

*hearts*

Trump just likes to talk to get headlines.

Look, if McCain won and it contributed to my success and well being I would be for McCain. If Obama contributed to my success and well being I would go for Obama.

But I always get hurt and caught in the middle. Either way it never works out for me in the long run.

Its just 2 competing ideologies at work. Like the stock market and financial system I have no control over it.

Polemicist: We had a tax increase in 1982. The economy was good after that.

I thought for sure he was endorsing Ed McMahon

The thing I hate about this, is that he's continuing the McCain distortions. If he wants to claim Obama will raise taxes, at least be honest and say that he's really just raising the fellow Trumplike top 4% taxes, and Obama is lowering them much more than McCain for everyone else.

If you don't agree with that, fine. But at least stick to the truth and give people the opportunity to make an informed decision.

The Trump endorsement balances out the Oprah and Lohan votes. All we need is the Paris Hilton economic plan and we are set to go!

"John McCain Sews Up Short-Fingered Vulgarian Vote Early"

"hey donald, you know what needs a cut? Your hair."

toupees don't grow back if you cut them.

"Obama would repeal President Bush tax cuts for households making more than $250,000"

.....
and that would be horrible.
