it's called "campaigning". This is what happened. She watched it with her family. She had a smile on her face in the beginning but realized they were taking it to her and her face became contorted with furious anger and anguish at the character assassination. Her husband probably said "That's fucked up Honey that's not you, it's those goddamn media elite!" when he saw the angry tears forming at the edge of her eyes as her hands clutched her blouse. She then turned away, took a breath and composed herself and then asked her campaign aid how to to turn this around. He probably said "just say you dressed like tina fey for halloween, sure it don't make no sense cause alaskans don't watch SNL and you've got five kids and are running the government and you coulnd't possibly have time to even know who the fuck Tina fey is, but it'll show that you've got a sense of humor"

Like most of Palin's claims, this one turns out to be misleading - Palin dressing as Fey might suggest a gain in hipness for Palin, but now it has also produced a slight LOSS in hipness for Fey and a 3% climb in the Liberal Nausea Quotient. Plus, Palin's claim that photos of her as Fey appeared on her Facebook account are false. It turns out she only has a MySpace page, which was created on her behalf by her daughter Bristol. While Palin did indeed instruct Bristol to post the photos, Bristol apparently chose to disregard this request and attend a movie instead. Tina Fey is a valuable national resource, and we cannot risk any further loss in this area! For God sakes, keep this woman out of Washington.
