Giants Look To Go To 2-0 Against Rams

2008_09_jacobsskins.jpgThanks to FOX, Giants’ fans got a preview of this week’s opponent last Sunday. For some reason, FOX decided to show the Eagles-Rams game in its entirety despite the fact that it was an utter blowout. If you stuck with the game, you saw just how putrid the Rams are. They managed only 8 first downs on offense and surrendered over 500 yards on defense.

Add in the fact that the Giants showed that they are a great road team last year and you have the makings of another blowout. New York will probably use the same formula as week 1, a healthy dose of Brandon Jacobs coupled with Plaxico Burress stretching the field. On defense, the one concern is the health of Mathias Kiwanuka, but the New York pass rush should still cause St. Louis problems. This one should be a laugher, expect the Giants to win big.

This is as close to a lock as they come. The G-men are of course comfortable playing away from home and they're pretty healthy minus Osi. And oh, BTW, the Rams suck ask. Giants by 13.
