Look Out NYC, Chucky's Back

chuckynyc.jpg

Perhaps more nightmare-worthy than clowns taking over, this past Monday the city was infiltrated by Chucky dolls! The terrifying Child's Play character multiplied and terrorized tourists and locals alike, all in celebration of the movie's 20th anniversary DVD release. His antics seemed to be centered around Times Square (hopefully far away from the Toys Я Us). Did you see any of these tiny terrors around? Looks like he even made it to Fashion Week, albeit wearing that same, tired old pair of overalls. So 1988. [via /Film]

Haha. That's hilarious. Whoever thought this up is a genius.

Here's footage of them watching Jessica Simpson perform.

That is one of the best things I have ever seen.

If I knew about this in advance, I would have called in sick to work.

I love the pictures and idea here.

What really made my skin crawl was Jen Carlson's tortured prose.

Until I clicked on the youtube video, I thought they were just dolls. So they're midgets? (Er, little people?)

I was in a comic book shop recently, and I saw a little girl crying because she was scared of the Chucky doll her sister pointed out up on the shelf. She's going to be in hysterics if she sees this guerrila marketing campaign.

I love how that dude is completed tuned out with his iPod and Jamba Juice, despite sitting next to 5 Chucky dolls and a butcher knife about a foot from his head. That photo says everything about NY in 2008.

*Shudder* Those dolls creep me the hell out. I was never able to watch those movies.

#7- my thoughts exactly.

Gotta do something about that Clay Aiken hair though.
