Remember the Mr. & Miss Williamsburg Pageant? Well, it happened, and one contestant reports back that the winner was victorious by drinking a PBR and simultaneously taking her panties off from under an American Apparel romper. Also...this crowned hipster jewel was from New Jersey. But wait, the scandal goes even deeper! She notes that Misha Calvert, head of the pageant (pictured), "instructed us not to tell anyone from the press that the whole applicant process was rigged" and that the Colt 45 story was a fabricated publicity stunt (shocking!). While this particular contestant and Calvert are no longer friends on Facebook (harsh!), the former did learn something: intellect cannot beat taking off one's underwear whilst donning an American Apparel romper, and "a large part of being a hipster in Williamsburg is flashing your vagina to the entirety of New York media."

As for the rigging of the vote: absolutely not. None needed! CJ was good and Lola was bad, end of story. CJ is not from New Jersey though boy does that make a catchy story. I didn't say any of those things either, but I will think twice the next time I just want to throw a fun party. To all the scandal-happy bloggers: thank you for raining on the parade. I don't even know how to Photoshop. I suck at it. All those different brushes make me want to thrust my mouse through the computer screen. And even if I was good at it, do you really think I had time to Photoshop all 350 of the raw unsized pageant pictures?
Also, I think it is funny that as evidence that I am an expert Photoshopper, you offer a series of professional pictures with studio backdrops. That is all.
HA! That Post article is great...the contestants they interviewed all have lived in Williamsburg for 2 - 3 months! Wow, talk about natives. I don't live in Brooklyn any more, but it was all jeans and sneakers and ball caps when I was growing up. I cannot even imagine the extent to which these people care so much what other people think of them! Just...WOW.

Yeah, but what about the photo of Misha that's in the Post? Not that the woman in that photo looks completely wrecked, but it looks waayy worse than that glam gold bikini shot, which makes me think that the totally busted pic is probably legit and unaltered.
Just be glad that Mr. Williamsburg didn't "flash his vagina".
