I understand, and what you say its true, these days the non-white areas of he Bronx is safer and better then the non-white areas of BK. However Brooklyn has more "Riverdales" in its borough then The Bronx.

Precisely, Riverdale is the Scarsdale-like section of the Bronx. You got it. Logic has nothing to do with it. The Bronx is a lot safer and more community oriented than Brooklyn in the non-white areas of both boros. So this appeared to be a more Bronx like approach to the situation. Got it?

#14 how is this in the "Bronxlike' section of Brooklyn? Is this not in Brooklyn? Was this not the Brooklyn of yore? Before the Yupters and the Hipsters? Brooklyn is a huge borough, it's logical that not all areas of Brooklyn will be a la Park Slope. That's like saying Riverdale in The Bronx is the 'Scarsdale-like' section of The Bronx, when we clearly know that Riverdale has always been there. I know what you're trying to say, but it does not make any sense (at least not logical).

Awesome. Of course, this sort of "citizen engagement" works a lot better when the guy is wielding a razor blade rather than a gun. From time to time I do think the NRA / concealed carry advocates have a point. While it's hard to imagine how we get "from here to there" in an urban setting, criminals would be loathe to act in an environment where they knew the average citizen could be armed...
