I wasn't saying this isn't news. I was saying that John needs to remember that Gothamist and the -ist brand weren't created to be his own personal slam book against the world. Everyone else on Gothamist does a fine job of writing about the news, but John can't resist pissing all over everything he's handed.

If you don't get the fun of Dante's Inferno, Break Dance, Water Flume, Top Spin, there's no hope for you. You are not and never will be a true New Yorker. #1 is right, this isn't news. The Mayor freake dout when he realized when Astroland closed forever people thought he'd killed Coney Island. yikes! so he put out a press release that he's trying to rescue it. anyone who falls for this pr stuff is a dunce

The Mayor said that he would guarantee to save CI if they change the height requirement on all the rides so he can go too.
