I love that this is open, but I also wonder about its maintenance. I feel like there's been a lot of dog poop and maybe even human poop in stabber alley in the recent weeks.

Open 24 hours a day? Say hello to the newest wino sleeping area. And I suspect it won't be long before good, old NYPD starts hassling people about taking pictures there, like they always hassle me when I'm taking snapshots around and under bridges. Obviously, they have nothing better to do with their time.
