Wow. An almost unbiased article. Made it all the way to the third paragraph before the obligatory slam at McCain.

Look this should be obvious: nothing is wrong with being a community organizer, nothing is wrong with being a baseball coach, being a great swimmer or being a sharp dresser or any of ten thousand nice things you can say about a person.
The point is it is not a qualification to be president, the most powerful and responsible position in the world. Obama has so few real accomplishments to point to that people bring up his community organizer experience and its just sad.
The same people think that spending a few years growing up in a foreign country counts as foreign policy experience. Utterly without clue.

Doesn't it look like Obama is about to unload a nice juicy wad of spit into McCain's ugly puss?.

Jesus also, give to Caesar what is Caesar's. Jesus stuck to spreading his religion and did not run for political office, in fact he deferred to Pilate's judgment of the law as governor.

"Mrs. Palin needs to be reminded that Jesus Christ was a community organizer and Pontius Pilate was a governor."

how to inspire others to serve causes greater than their own self-interest through national and community service."

Call me jaded, but I don't think a few kids joining the Peace Corps can balance out the actions of the government's military-industrial complex and other corporate misbehavior.

Obama's standing in for him. McCain didn't slam community organizers; just the notion that being one imparts some executive experience. Both these guys should be applauded for pushing this topic.

...how to inspire others to serve causes greater than their own self-interest through national and community service

Unfortunately, many reach a point in life where all their energies and time goes into keeping their own head above water in this uncertain future
