Man Fatally Stabbed at Jersey City Light Rail

2008_09_jcstab.jpgA 36-year-old man headed to work at Merrill Lynch's Jersey City office was stabbed to death this morning. The victim was identified as Michael Fuccile, director of chief compliance, and a father of three. Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio told the Jersey Journal, "It appears to be a random act of violence and there is no indication there was any dispute or demand for property." WABC 7 reports that the suspect, Elgin Taylor Jr., may have a history of mental illness; after the crime, witnesses followed Taylor and held down him down until police arrived.

"Welcome to New Jersey: Come for the cancer, stay for the chemo"

Re-institutionalize these psychos. Community Mental Health is a joke.

"Welcome to New Jersey: Come for the cancer, stay for the chemo"

What does that have to do with the story? Oh wait, nothing..... You were just waiting until any NJ related story came up & then unleash that witty & clever gem on the world.

That's what she said.

another killing because some psychotic "chose" not to take his meds.

these folks are sick, they can't make a rational decision about their health. the state has the duty to make sure they take their meds; they should also be given the power, unhindered by any concerns about the sick person's civil rights.
