I felt like I was listening to the New Fascists. Giuliani's a nasty old man. Palin delivered her speech well, but here's my take away:

a) Vote for McCain because he's a POW and obviously loves his country more than the Democrats

b) Obama's not like us and really hasn't done anything of substance

c) I'm just like you and I'm tough, so don't mess with me

d) Did I mention that McCain was a war hero?

This convention is a total shitshow. I watch for a few minutes but then invariably have to turn it off. Who are these people?
