Given the shifty dealings I had with Andy Yang, this doesn't surprise me AT ALL. Way back in March, when gothamist posted about his can you handle the heat meal at Rhong Tiam, I and two friends immediately took up the challenge. He was extremely friendly, came to our table, chatted us up, and when we finished "every last spicy morsel," he gave us his card and told us to email him to get our reservation for a free meal at Kurve. I emailed once, twice, three times, and never heard anything back. Now i understand why he couldn't write me back- because the restaurant wasn't open (and still isn't, despite serving customers?).
