Frankly, he's been a better mayor than the last two excuses, and who can forget John Lindsay---well I'm not old enough to have experienced it but that's besides the point. Listen, if you're not a moron, or a dumbass crook, you've got some activity up in your brain and you're putting it to use at your job and making good for it, then you're probably not too unhappy with the job he's done so far. On the other hand, ...well, let's just not go there.

I hope he extends terms limits for another year. Then he runs for office, and loses. Doesn't hurt his political career and whoever runs against him has to really have their shit together. Otherwise we'll be stuck with Catsimatidis or worse (if it can get any).

Bloomberg is an a-hole. If you really have been paying attention you can pick up on Bloomberg's inconsistencies and discrepancies. Bloomberg's deputy mayors do not support changing the term limit.

Bloomberg is an EXCELLENT politician. He's playing with the city council, in order to exert control over them. Most of those who would benefit from an extension of term limits, will follow him around, like puppy dogs, hoping to not upset him. In the end, he won't run. Great power play to end his term in office.
