He wasn't 'desperate'. He's just another hood rat, ghetto trash, thug life/corrupt cop, 'needs bling at all costs' low life. Put him down.

What is so ludicrous about this whole crime spree is - if you study the nes photos.... he is resting his fingers and palms on the counter!!! No one thought to get fingerprints after he left??????? Of course, the bank clerks are probably too scared to death to think, but what about the Supervisors or Managers?

Plus, he is a former cop, so he can't be expected to know right from wrong.

I'm not saying it's right—what he did. But he has advanced liver cancer. It's inoperable. I imagine he's in great pain and swimming through debt. I feel very sorry for this guy. Like I said, not condoning what he did, but it's sad that he went to this extreme for money, desperation, whatever. Very sad. There needs to be more help in place for people who reach this sort of low. Something.
