Hank Steinbrenner Tells It Like It Is: The Yankees Suck

Hank "Boss Lite" Steinbrenner was asked about the Yankees' 11-3 loss to the Red Sox last night and he didn't mince words. Newsday, which also has video, reported that he said, "It's very disappointing... Even without having our two best pitchers, so forth and so on, they still stunk... The bottom line is, they sucked." Johnny Damon said, "We just dug ourselves a deeper hole," about being eight games out of the wild card slot, as did Derek Jeter who said, "A lot of people are counting us out. It's our job to prove those people wrong."

Fire Girardi?????? How about Fire A-Rod and all the rest of the "PLAYERS" that aren't doing their job! A-Rod has proved yet again that he is the last person you would want at bat in a clutch situation.

This overpaid team is a disgrace....period.

When you are praying for your team to make the 'wild-card' you know they SUCK! There should be no wild-card...it should be like the old days...the TOP TEAMS make the playoffs...the rest go home. The only reason for the wild-card is so the owners can make more $$$....$$$ which, we, the fans keep paying for.

If Yankee fans had any balls they would choose one game before the end of this season and just not show up. The only thing these people know....owners and players...is $$$...so we should hit them in the wallet. Maybe then they would understand the fans...although I doubt even that would work.
