Strahan Will Stay Retired

After two days of speculation, given the season-ending injury of defensive end Osi Umenyiora, retired Giant Michael Strahan will stay retired. He told Fox Sports, "I wish I could've had different news for Giants fans, but I've known for awhile I'm done...After long deliberation and throwing around a million scenarios in my head for the past day, I think it's just best if I stay retired," and said he couldn't "commit 100% physically, mentally, emotionally." Currently, the plan is to move linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka to defensive end. In other Strahan news, a three-judge panel says his child support payments should be recalculated, because things like diamond jewelry to the children's grandmother and a 10-day trip to the Bahamas for the children's nanny and her family were found to be questionable.

As he should. It's the best thing for both him and the team. He of course gets to keep his legacy as going out on top instead of possibly on a stretcher. And the team avoids the circus that would be caused by his coming back. The worst thing they could do right now is become too focused on any individual. Just move on.

I agree. Thankfully, Strahan is the anti-Favre.

They should just hire his ex-wife to fill-in at DE.

Giants 2008-09 record 2-17

You obviously know squat shit about what you're trying to talk about, Snoopy. 2-17 isn't possible. Stick with tennis and your fuzzy balls.

Jen,

I was including the pre-season games numb no nuts.

OK I'm sorry I made a mistake Jensbra their record could possibly be 3-17 I forgot they have one more pre-season game.

Who ever includes pre-season games when talking about a team's record?

If you're including pre-season games, then you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Who adds preseason games to the total?

Oh that jerkoff snoopy.

What snoop is saying is that the jints will sux. Did no one see get that?

Thanx Rfive. At least someone realizes a crap team when they see it.

For the other idiots on this blog, I see a 1-2 record so far. Are you looking at some other stats?

Obviously none of you could manage a team. Pre-season is just like regular season except you don't get penalized for being a loser. Obviously you are season ticket holders trying to justify the cost of your tickets and the "honor" of buying a seat in the nose bleed section.

They are the Jersey Giants and it shows it.
