Gothamist: Tagging Queens Couple Arrested

Okay, I was just riding my bike yesterday and I saw new UTAH outlines in a few different places that were NOT there the day before. I have photographs at the EXACT locations to prove this. Now, it says she was in custody in Chicago as she flew there from Europe. How in the world is this possible? They must have the wrong person in this case. Or, there could be more than one. This brings up a good question. How can you accuse people of doing graffiti based on the name or writing on the wall? Anyone could do it. As "Artists", you have the talent to copy other's work exactly as it would be. The only way they will have anything on her is if they have video of her doing actually doing the crime that shows her face clearly. The fact that this story got so blown up in the media (Only because the person suspected of doing this is a female) will only make the judge take it more serious.

jail time is excessive. give them community service, and/or fine them both, but putting them in jail doesn't sound right. and their work doesn't suck!

They will probably a big punishment to make an example. Make the fine fit the crime. Give them community service and be done with it.
