The Yankee defense has been lacking lately as well. I am thrilled they will be moving into a new stadium with jacked up prices with a shitty team like this. Girardi is a solid manager who worked wonders on a minor league Marlins team. These Yankees are mostly past their prime. Hooray!

Last season the pitching was the problem and this year the offense has not been clicking at all. Yankees are unable to get key hits, which is why they aren't making the playoffs.

It's not really Girardi's fault that beyond A-Rod, Rivera and the resurgent Giambi and Mussina, the Yankees just don't have all that much talent. Look at how many of their players are getting old all at once - Giambi, Jeter, Damon, Abreu, Matsui, Posada, Mussina, Pettite, Rivera all over 34. Way too much hope placed on mediocre players like Cano and Cabrera and Rasner, prospects who weren't ready like Kennedy and Hughes. No manager in the world can prevent players from getting old.

Girardi must go. The anemia starts at the top.
Can't wait to see Pavano's ERA after Saturday's start.
