The dude was wrong, but who can't see that this is an effort to ensure the GOP has an adequate amount of power in Albany? Think Spitzer's scandal wasn't motivated by similar efforts? Think again. Expect more of these. The funny thing is that if one were to do enough digging, I'm sure you'd find similarly scandal-prone Republicans. I don't know why the Dems don't get better private investigators and more control of the media as part of their gambit.

While I suppose the sex lives of our "leaders" shouldn't be front page news there is something very irritating about these guys. If my employer can fire me for "fraternizing" with someone on a lower level in my company (i.e. does not even have to be a subordinate of mine) then these guys should have to play by the rules our politically correct society has created even if there is no explicit policy (see Clinton, William J.) And furthermore, what sort of idiot emails this stuff? It's the 21st century. Don't leave an electronic trail. And in the case of John Edwards, what sort of idiot starts an affair when he knows he is going to be running for President? That was worse judgement than the actual affair.

Illuzzi (PoliticsWNY.net) has been blogging in Buffalo since, like, 1996. I don't think he's changed the format of his site since then. My favorite bit from the e-mails is "i chose you over buffalo". Good to know exactly where he stands with regards to his constituents.
