Attempt at Condom Refund Ends in Humiliation, Arrest

082008condom.jpgWhen a gas station employee in Englewood, New Jersey refused to give 21-year-old Kadien Jackson a refund on an unopened box of condoms, Jackson allegedly took the dispute to another level and called 911, telling the operator that the gas station was being robbed. He even provided a description of the robber, which happened to match the employee who refused to take back the prophylactics. After responding to the call and realizing they'd been summoned for no reason, police arrested Jackson and charged him with making a false report. What's worse is that Kadien Jackson's failure to both get laid and get his money back will now be immortalized by Google, eclipsing his 1995 mention in the Bergen County Record for his 8-year-old soccer achievements.

That sentence alone makes this news tidbit worthy of Pulitzer gold!

I absolutely agree lol Classic!

(note to self - Google name and see what is there....)

Never trust soccer hooligans. They are nothing but trouble.

Nice picture!

At least he was smart enough to use protection. LOL.

In college a vending machine broke and everyone stole all the snacks from it. The only thing left in the vending machine were condoms and my friend decided to take them even though he wasn't getting any action. Needless to say, The cops had arrived at that moment he was fishing the condoms out and he was arrested for petty theft but the humiliating part was his name and act was reported in the college paper. he couldn't get over the taunts and I never saw my friend again after that. he dropped out the following year and last I heard He was selling his body in the streets of madrid. Lesson: never steal condoms.

As this story proves condoms are nothing but trouble. That's why I only sleep with virgins, and after one use, I dispose of them.

I doubt he'll be "immortalized" by Google. Most of the mentions will drop off the Web in due time. Wouldn't you guys rather write that he's immortalized by this very piece on Gothamist? That would imply Gothamist will be around forever.

@Kojak: Before or after asking for the refund?
