THEATER: Larry Kunofsky’s buzzed-about comedy What To Do When You Hate All Your Friends has been extended through this weekend. The “anti-social” satire skewers the dysfunctional twenty-something approach to romance and friendship in the Craigslist era. "Matt is a guy who hates all his friends. Celia is a woman at the center of The Friends, a secret group that has perfected friendship through special rules and a rigid ranking system. Can a guy who hates all his friends and a woman who needs friendship to go by-the-book figure out a way to spend time together without going mental?” Variety calls it hilarious, urging the producers to hand bullhorns to the audience as they file out, “so they can spread the word as they leave, massaging their aching sides.” – John Del Signore

8 p.m. // The Lion @ Theatre Row [410 West 42nd Street] // $18 to $26.25

COMEDY: Nothing is more comedic than a soap opera; tonight watch As The Diamond Burns: An Improvised Soap Opera at the UCB Theater. "The steamy, smoky mining town of Charcoal Ridge, Connecticut is a lusty heathen hump of deceit, desire, murder, betrayal, doing it, and other things. Watch as the characters blindly follow their darkest passions into a pitch-black cave of surrender."

11 p.m. // UCB Theater [307 W 26th St] // $5
