Search for Driver Who Rammed into Three Stores

2008_08_trucksistore.jpgOver night, a truck apparently deliberately rammed into three storefronts on Staten Island's Port Richmond Avenue. What's strange is that the stores aren't next to each other, leading some to wonder if the driver was targeting Mexican-owned stores. Witnesses saw the driver back into a grocery, then hit another building, and, after driving down the block, come back to hit a restaurant 10 minutes later. The police are looking for a suspect; witnesses described him as a bald white male, in a red pickup truck.
