Moonstruck House Sells on Cranberry Street

0808moonstruck.jpgWord from Brooklyn's Cranberry Street is that the Moonstruck house (located at #19) has been sold after being on the market for just over two years. In that time it's gone from $5 million to $3.5 million; though there's no word on how much it was actually sold for, that's quite a deal for any Cher fan! Brooklyn Heights Blog notes that "the sellers of the home, architect Edwards Rullman and his wife Francesca, have owned the building since 1959. Rullman also served a 10 year term as a governor and a two year term as president of the Brooklyn Heights Association." Catch some glimpses of the house in the Moonstruck trailer.

"Rullman also served a 10 year term as a governor.."

Makes it sound like a prison sentence..

Moonstruck is such a beautiful, romantic, funny movie...it's also a love letter to Brooklyn!

I loved this movie, but a lot of the outdoor shots were filmed in Toronto. I remember seeing some show on TV where they broke down the scenes and pointed out how they attempted to make it all look like NYC.

one of my all time favorite movies! was wondering when this house would sell.

"I never seen anybody so in love like Cosmo back then! He'd stand outside the house all day and look in the windows. I never told you this cause it's not really a story. But one time I woke up in the middle of the night cause this bright Light was in my face. Like a flashlight. I couldn't think a what it was. I looked out the window, and it was the moon! Big as a house!...And I looked down, and standing there in the street was Cosmo, looking up at the windows...
