The 19-year-old woman arrested for allegedly shooting a taxi cab driver in the face last week has pleaded not guilty to charging including attempted murder and attempted robbery. April Pierce, being held on $150,000 bail, claims her two other companions shot Enois Malbranche; one of them, Erica Belgrave, surrendered to police on Monday while the cops are still looking for the third suspect. Malbranche, who told the NY Times that the women robbed him before shooting him in Brooklyn, is reportedly blind in his right eye and will need glasses to correct his left eye. The Daily News says it's "a disability that will likely end his 10-year career as a cab driver."

If you put them to death, they won't learn anything. The key is the make them admit that they were wrong to commit the act in the first place, then punish them some more.
Throw them in solitary for life, and have the guards beat them regularly.
This is the reason the Moon needs to be colonized; it would be the perfect option for people like these criminals. Why waste them in prison when you can send them to the Moon to excavate and build. Plus, the life expectancy for people who don't think clearly wouldn't be so high which would weed out the morons.
Why waste perfectly valuable lunar real-estate when we can just dump them in middle of the Pacific. Eventually these people will form a sort of human 'reef' and in their death it will encourage endangered forms of ocean life to survive.
We cant risk polluting our precious oceans with their filth. We must use them as bio fuel for our cars and planes so we can break our dependence on foreign oil. We have such a large prison population that we will no longer have any need for Saudi Oil.
