1 Dead, 1 Injured in a Bronx Shooting

2008_08_bxsht.jpgA 20-year-old was killed while a 13-year-old was wounded during a shooting in the Morrisania section of the Bronx. People heard gunfire outside of 730 East 165th Street around 11:30 p.m.; a man told WCBS 2, "I'm on my way home and I hear a boom, boom, boom. It's not a common thing, but we're used to being careful." When police arrived, they found the two people shot. The 20-year-old was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene while the 13-year-old is in stable condition, with shots in the arm and thigh. No arrests have been made yet.

Sorry, the poors are killing each other like they're supposed to and what else?

Oh, wait: sorry, yes, tragic that this happened at this age. I believe they are not supposed to kill each other until they reach the 25-40 year-old range.

When they're young, they're supposed to be shooting cab drivers in the eye.

I see -- it's one of those silly human interest stories where some poors got it all wrong. Silly!

Fitting that they have such a nice zoo in a borough full of animals.

Conflicting reports are coming in. Someone told FOX 5 that he heard "Pow, Pow, Pow."

    Film at eleven.

Did he go back to his room?

Amazing. This 'witness' has definitely shed some light into this tragedy. Thank god for CBS 2
