Why did the police arrest the victim of a stabbing? Well, around 2 p.m., a couple got into a fight. The AP reports the man "punched the woman, who then plunged a pen into his shoulder" while on a subway or in the Union Square subway station. When police questioned him, he claimed another man had attacked him When cops figured out what happened--and found out the woman had an order of protection against the man--they arrested him with filing a false police report, assault and criminal contempt. The puncher-turned-stabbing victim is in serious condition at St. Vincent's, and, yes, woman was also arrested.

I'm afraid we'll hear more from this creep as soon as they release him.
Wait a second...he punches her and because she sticks him with a pen in retaliation, he's the victim?
I'll amend that to "stabbing victim."
That must have been some pen.

I mean, they're both victims of violence, even though he started it (ie asked for it/had it coming).
So if she has a order of protection against him, he initiated an attack, and she retaliated, this is pretty easily self defense, right?
OF course she can claim self defense. That's why she wasn't arrested. Are you lame?
She WAS arrested.
#7- "and, yes, woman was also arrested."
Are you lame?
When an order of protection is not enough, always carry your weapon of choice. A good pen will do. It is a mighty weapon after all. :}
