WTF @ being called racist. The man had health issues, which were publically noted, and which most likely contributed to complications from pneumonia. It being AIDS is probably unlikely. End of story. I grew up in Brooklyn, and the closest I had to a Father was a Black Gentleman who cared enough about me to make me "Pick My Own Switch" when I was headed down another wrong path. Bernie Mac (as he portrayed himself on the Bernie Mac Show) was eerily close to being the same man (without the Benjamins). Now a Dad myself (also without the Benjamins!) in Boise, Idaho., My son and I couldn't wait to watch every show. I can't even begin to express how sad this makes me.
