DRINK: Hey Singles, Bottlerocket Wine shop invites you to "Get Some" this month at their singles event that's titled just that. Their idea is simple: "Discover a new wine. Taste a new cocktail. Meet a potential date." The series kicks off tonight with the hard stuff! They'll be pouring some Lucid Absinthe, so even if you don't really meet someone, maybe you'll hallucinate that you did. (Pictured: the poet Verlaine drinking Absinthe.)

THEATER: The Soho Think Tank's Ice Factory Festival continues with Red-Haired Thomas, a new play written by the Think Tank’s artistic director Robert Lyons and directed by Oliver Butler, who’s as highly regarded for his competitive cheese consumption as his inspired work with The Debate Society. The show has something to do with Thomas Jefferson, whose “daughter doesn't need him. His wife might leave him. His newspaper vender just might kill him. A gambler's darkly comic, spiraling descent into a paranoid mythology of power point presentations and hostage videos.” – John Del Signore
7 p.m. // Ohio Theatre [66 Wooster Street] // $15
