From JetBlue to Paris
Larry King has two interesting guests tonight: The main guest is JetBlue CEO Dave Barger, who will discuss his airline's changes as higher costs hit the airline industry. And more humorously, writer-director Adam McKay will also be on, to discuss the Paris Hilton response ad on Funny or Die. The ad was shot in the Hamptons--and Paris apparently memorized the entire script!

Shameless, self-promotion.

Paris Hilton as presidential candidate surrogate. Now can I bite down on my cyanaide capsule?
[ report this ]
I kind of just vomited a little in my mouth...
[ report this ]
Get off it. It's f'n funny. She makes a lot of sense too!

For the idiots who don't get it:
This video mocks both McCain and Paris,
and Paris deserves nothing but mad props for playing along (very well, I might add).
Next time, think before you react.
If you have anything to think with, that is.

Hey, she can read off a teleprompter. I'm sure she'd do at least as good a job as our current Dubya.

I remember when she was smoking hott in 2003-5. Something about her face is really ugly now. Her nose looks really beaky and her skin tone has a old ugly crack addict suck your dick for a dollar sheen to it. Jail done fucked her up.
[ report this ]
Wow, Paris successfully pulls off political satire.
[ report this ]
"see you at the debates, bitches!"
[ report this ]
Everything about Paris Hilton is fake from her words to her body.
[ report this ]
Oh, lighten up, people, it's supposed to be funny. Yeah, okay, Paris Hilton is this and that and blah blah. Who cares? The video is still funny.
(But I have to say, watching her make fun of herself just adds to my suspicion that Paris Hilton is actually very, very clever, and that the whole "airheaded bimbo" thing is just schtick...)
[ report this ]
Maybe it's because I had it on mute, but that Paris video didn't annoy me as much as I thought it might.
[ report this ]
True the nose has gotten beakier but it seems her brain has improved.
[ report this ]
It was 'like, totally clear' Paris was reading when she stated "her" energy plan.
[ report this ]
Sad that Paris' plan makes more sense than Barry's...

Jetblue needs all the help t can get if they do not shape up soon they will be going down the pan, Poor old paris got to do some work lol.

babyhitler is right on. But she always had a pea face. If she weren't famous, you'd think she was just another stupid looking mall girl. I call it the Britney phenomenon.
#11. "It's supposed to be funny". But it isn't.
#8. Successfully? Huh?
[ report this ]
I liked her other video better.
[ report this ]
I still want to know what her favorite Bible passage is.
[ report this ]
I love her energy plan. Makes more sense than what both Obama and McCain are pitching. Yes she was reading it, but she did it like a professional. Well Done.
[ report this ]
Shouldn't she be doing commercials for a hotel chain? She's very good at reading maybe should work at a library. Does she still talk to her Grandma Zsa Zsa?

What's really funny is that the people who think that this video is trash or dumb and cannot see that it is intelligent and funny satire, are definitely dumber than Paris Hilton.
You guys are in no position to make fun of Paris, sex tapes or not.
What difference does it make if she was reading it or not? Do you think it takes brains to memorize lines?
MFer (#17),
You are my favorite. Never mind if it's funny or not (it is!)... but really, it's been shown as satire on every fucking news and entertainment outlet. Even McCain responded to it. If that's not a success, then please tell me what is? Oh yeah, it success only of you get it. Tall order, I know.
[ report this ]
You want the meaning of success? Her sex tapes. Now that's big time distribution success.
Look up the meaning of the word. This is shameless self-promotion masquarading as satire. It's slap the ass horsey, horsey.
[ report this ]
MFer,
Well, in your world were Paris is a bigger problem than McCain is, the fact that she likes to pose in golden swimsuit and high heels may be more important than the fact that this video does in fact hit McCain back with the weapon that he himself first reached for.
For the rest of us, who live in reality, Paris' shameless self-promotion is a minor part of this video. The big part is that it kicks McCain in the ass.

The Presidential campaign TV ads is getting a little nasty, if you happen to see the "McCain's New TV Ad on Obama's 'Celebrity' like Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and The Democratic TV Ad on McCain: Are We Better Off?" videos being clash in Well, sooner or later you knew it had to start! The media is begging for it and the people want to see some fight in their candidates. So here ya go...and I am sure this is only the beginning. So, if I'm going to ask this question, which one is more believable?
