- A former detective was sentenced to 3 1/2 years for forcing a teenage girl into prostitution.

- An accountant pleaded guilty to embezzling $2.8 million from Tishman Construction. He will pay about $1.5 million in restitution (he used some on a down payment and plastic surgeons!).
