I don't understand why a bigger deal hasn't been made about this. The man was using a rent stabilized housing unit for business purposes. That's against the rent stabilization laws.

Rangel's finances are public record. If you had bothered to check, you would see that his lifestyle is hardly lavish. The apartments in question are rent stabilized, not rent controlled. There's a big difference in the conditions under which an apartment is stabilized vs. controlled and usually a big difference in the rent as well.

The man's been in politics for over 25 years, and is probably worth at least $500,000. That's just a conservative guess - he's probably got millions stashed in Bermuda accounts. The lib is worth all that money, and he's still RENTING. LOL. Typical NYC liberal.
