The body of John Fresca, who owned Fresca's on the Bay in Tottenville on Staten Island, was found after midnight, near the restaurant. He had been shot multiple times; workers had heard gunshots, but didn't see the shooter. Per 1010 WINS, "This isn't the first time someone tried to harm Fresca at his restaurant. In 2005, four men shot at and beat Fresca, leaving him with broken bones and a head injury," apparently because Fresca was in a relationship with the estranged wife of one of the attackers. Fresca also owned the property near the restaurant, which "includes a marina, a boat sales office, and bait and tackle shop." Police were canvassing the neighborhood for more witnesses.

Owned?

Not enough garlic in the fra diavolo? That would piss me off too, though not enough to kill the guy.
Anyone ever notice that Jen has a fascination with all things Staten Island?
The Calamari there used to be excellent. Lately? Not so good.
