Inflation from block to block? As in, it's OK for the Gristedes on 90th street to charge $3.50 for a half gallon of milk when the bodega on 94th charges $3.00? That kind of inflation? And this guy's a republican just like Bloomberg was -- when it was politically convenient for him to run for office.

he really looks like a "mayor". the way some guys look like "stickman" or "chief". of course, he looks like the "mayor" that also owns the salt mine and is giving the beautiful orphan girl who protects the smaller orphans a choice between living a short nasty life/death in the mine or becoming his child bride...but a "mayor" nonetheless.

You guys are all a bunch of bums. What do you see in career politicians who raise taxes and are against development? This guys came from nothing and worked his butt off to make something of himself. There used to be a time when people were happy to work hard and earn their paycheck as opposed to sit at home and collect it without putting the elbow grease. I'm sure all you tree huggers are ecstatic when you hear Michelle Obama say her husband is going to make you work but when a Republican runs and all he wants is for you help yourself while keeping more money in your pocket you trounce on him--and for such a pity reason as being the owner of Gristedes. It's time NYC looks in the mirror. We have a legislature that can't pass a driving test and yet your mad because you're paying $.50 more on a gallon of milk. Oprah? Uhhhhh, I don't know...a fat fishface? The Gristedes closest to my house has a poster in the window saying "Lowest Prices in Manhattan" while they charge $3.49 for a pint of cottage cheese that the independent grocer across the street charges $2.79 for.

Fuck this guy, he is a crook. Gristedes is a shit hole, they charge enormous amounts of money for basic sundries, and have even been prosecuted for back dating dairy.
