Feist on GMA vs. Miley Cyrus on Today Show

Last week Miley Cyrus took GMA's Bryant Park stage, sans Hannah Montana wig, for an early morning concert. This morning she took her act over to The Today Show, while Feist owned the GMA crowd at Bryant Park. It wasn't a competition but...they did both bring their spirit fingers! And even though Miley is popular with the tweens, Feist is sure to win over the tots after her appearance on Sesame Street airs later this year.

Who the fuck is Miley Cyrus and why do people care about her?

Shouldn't this shit be posted on Gawker?

Ralph, Miley Cyrus is a teenage actress and singer most popular for her role as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel series of the same name. Her show and music are enormously popular with pre-teen girls. Through the first half of this year her concert tour has pulled in over $17 million.

Miley is clearly about to do some Star Wars Emperor lightning on someone in the front row.

that song miley sang was darn catchy.

Standing outside for a total of 3 maybe 4 songs. No Thanks.

so the Today show booked an act after she had gone on GMA... interesting... doesn't the #1 show usually insist on going first?

MrGuy: Look at it this way: GMA is an ABC show. ABC owned by Disney.

Miley is a 15 year old making music for 15 year olds. If you don't like it, well, you shouldn't, it isn't made for you.

We're just into a new teenybopper product cycle. The last one gave us the lovely Britney Spears. It's mostly about merchandising but the girls do have talent and they more or less live up to their corporate bosses' expectations.
