Family of Slain Ex-Cop Angry at NYPD

2008_07_aiello2.jpgA lawyer representing the family of the former NYPD sergeant Jason Aiello, who was fatally shot by police outside his Staten Island home, told the Daily News, "If Jason was black, there would be a thousand people protesting outside 1 Police Plaza. The mayor would be on television apologizing. But this isn't an Al Sharpton case." Police, responding after 911 calls about Aiello, say he was armed with two guns and fired at them, so they returned fire, but lawyer Peter Antioco claims Aiello never fired and wasn't even armed when shot. Family members are saying the NYPD isn't offering to provide pallbearers or a police escort for Aiello's funeral, while his cousin said the city should pay for funeral expenses. And the Advance reports that Aiello's 7-year-old son saw the shooting, wondering, "Why did they do that?"

If he was black they would have shot him before he escaped the hospital and at least 51 times. Let us not forget he was armed with two guns unlike some "black suspects" who are not trained by the NYPD nor did they have guns

"If Jason was black, there would be a thousand people protesting outside 1 Police Plaza."

That is such an ignorant thing to say. If an armed black man had been shot by police, there would be no one talking about it. Plus, I don't think there were 1,000 people who protested the killing of Sean Bell.

you gotta be kidding me. the left side of the bell curve.

He fired at the cops 8 times!

This sounds like a job for Sal Sharpton!

the left side of the bell curve.

A 'hood you're very familiar with, eh?

These stories conflict sharply. Armed or not armed? The truth will come out. It could well be another major embarrassment for NYPD.

"And the Advance reports that Aiello's 7-year-old son saw the shooting, wondering, "Why did they do that?""

Because Daddy was a nut, honey....

no need to be familiar with it, it's Staten Island.
definitely the left side of the bell curve.

unless when it comes to voting, then it's right.

Bingo, if you truly knew of what you spoke, I would listen. Although I'll admit to certain prejudices against bigots, hate-mongers, and idiots like yourself, I am not racist. It's really sad that you don't see that what I said was something you would agree with if only you could put aside your own bigotry and hate for a moment. The sad thing on my end is that I even agree with you on one thing - that sometimes black people have weapons planted on them after the fact.

I can't even read Bingo's rant.
Is he related to Zyskandar A Jaimot?

SORRY YOUSE CAN'T READ - ise youse blind as well as deaf and dumb??? OR JUST TERMINALLY STOOPID aka a DEMBHOLE???
