The cat wasn't trapped for two weeks, . Chris Muth didn't call Animal Rescue for quite sometime. The owners didn't care about their cat. Muth threatened the super of the building after holing up in the illegally accessed apartment he broke into. The real heroes are the Animal Rescue team who eventually caught the cat humanely. Chris should've stayed in the psych ward for a while, usually you do that if you have a breakdown, no? Oh yeah, if you are renovating an apartment, it's not a good idea to have a cat there, if you happen to be catsitting...they might just disappear down a hole.
