Extra, Extra

- From the Gothamist Newsmap: A building collapse on Kings Highway in Brooklyn, an evidence search on E 163 & Kelly in the Bronx and a hazmat at Lexington Ave & E 45 St in Manhattan.
- A body that washed ashore on Rockaway Beach may be of a 16-year-old girl who went missing in the waters last Friday.
- CBS 2 reporter Pablo Guzman suffered a heart attack yesterday; the station sys he's "resting comfortably and doing just fine as he is already on the road to recovery."
- If you can stand it, Charlie Rose interviewed Momofuku's David Chang for an hour.
- Police arrested a man who is suspected of stealing essential wiring from Con Ed--because copper is going for $3.60/pound. The Post reports he "had lifted off the heavy metal protective street grate and clambered down into the hole where he methodically began cutting some 60 to 300 feet of bundled cable wires."
- There's less mercury in Hudson River fish, according to a recent study from Stony Brook University. What's more, the mercury that "has been found seems to come from a source upstream - perhaps from the Adirondack watershed or an industrial source."
- And VanityFair.com created a McCain-version of the infamous New Yorker cover.

That fake cover from Vanity Fair is f*cked up. Funny, but f*cked. The New Yorker cover was ironic, since the images depicted were not true. The Vanity Fair cover is vicious, since it is true that Mrs. McCain is a recovering drug addict and Senator McCain is actually old.

No kidding. McC is old? I wonder what's his real age? Maybe it's listed on the back of Obama's fake Hawaiian birth certificate?
This pic looks like a set-up for that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-yldqNkGfo
