I'm glad he's taking a stand on this, even if it's words without action; there were enough politicians standing up against congestion pricing as a "tax on the middle class" that it would've been absurd for nobody to point out the same about a fare hike.

Outside of its downtown area, Seattle's bus fees are distance-based. Downtown, they're free...and clean.

I want buses... more buses... better routes... I want AC'd subway stations... I want to pay 300$ a month for a subway pass and eat lobster on the cars... but its not going to happen... I pay 81 and get pushed into a car with 300 other people... when I travel off-peak I get harassed for money by "bums" (who dress nicer then I do) and finally the system is really accessible for all those with strollers and kids :) thanks for those who like to pee in the elevators
