I wished I lived in a building like that. My landlord thought he was doing me a favor by replacing my 10 yr. old freezer, which no longer froze.

What we have here is a retirement home for friends of the Rudins. You can bet every one of those Judges and politicians have at least one second home outside the city, and in many cases they spend most of the year away from 68th St.
The Rudins reap many benefits from the city and should reward not the politicians, but the citizens, however those are the guys they look to
get rid of. However I really don't feel sorry for anyone living in that building most of them probably can afford the market rate rents.
The Rudins will rough up anyone that's not in their circle. The rest of them get a pass of some sort.
This city needs a Real Estate Czar to settle these issues, the real estate interests control too many politicians. Those judges that are still working and live in their buildings cannot be trusted to rule objectively. athe worst thing that will happen is that the Rudins will collect market rate rents from everybody in their buildings.
