Meowster I'm not saying it's now violent because "transplants" moved in. I'm saying that's the only reason it gets any press. "Man shot in Brooklyn" never used to be much news. It was something unfortunate but it was also something that was bound to happen. Like the belmar mayor said, it was right up there with "dog bites man".

nobody needs to "off" the hipster/transplants. They'll all be gone in another few 2-5 years when their big dreams of living in cool brookyln & being a model/actor/musician are over with & reality takes over their lives.

why would the cops start to care what happens there? Before all these transplants moved in there & decided they were gonna change the world it was crappy but relatively peaceful. Now it's crappy & violent. These gangs are gonna get theirs by the Italians for messin with the feast though I can tell you that much.
