"Does it really matter if someone saw it at 3am or two weeks from now?" the entire experience is different on opening night. i saw sweeney todd opening night at the ziegfeld & saw it again 2 weeks later. opening night the theater was filled with people like me who saw it on broadway with patti lupone & there was an energy that was totally lacking when i saw it 2 weeks later with people who had no idea that songs were cut. there was applause after every song & strangers talked to each other on opening night. this weekend the theaters will be filled with geeks who will laugh at the easter eggs & discuss "no man's land" & "knightfall" at the concession stand. that won't happen 2 weeks later.

Amazing how people get so worked up over a movie. Soon you know it this movie will be on DVD. Does it really matter if someone saw it at 3am or two weeks from now?
